The fee for WVC Wenatchee students is $5 per credit up to a maximum of $75 per quarter/per student. All WVC Wenatchee students taking credit earning classes* will pay the fee.

The State of Washington does not pay for non-classroom spaces on campus. Regardless of the need and desire of students, taxpayer dollars cannot be used to fund recreational spaces. Therefore, a student-initiated and student-funded project is the only way a recreation center could be built.
The student recreation center is a 20,000 square foot building and a $6.2 million dollar project. The SRC student fees will be used to repay the loan service debt, maintenance and operations cost, and any other associated fees and cost. The loan is expected to be paid off in 20 years.
Yes, students are able to bring guests, at least 13 years of age, for a fee. Non-students may come as a guest of a WVC student for $6 per day. Non-WVC students may come as a guest of a WVC student for $4 with a valid student ID card. All guests* must sign a waiver, and present photo identification with printed date of birth prior to entry. A WVC student can bring up to two guests per day. Guests must be with their WVC sponsor at all times.
*For guests under 18 years of age, parent or legal guardian signature is required for admittance to the facility.
Yes, faculty and staff may use the REC center for $75 per academic quarter.
Only WVC students, faculty, staff and recent alumni have access to the student recreation center.
