Stand Against Racism
Every year, Wenatchee Valley College hosts "Stand Against Racism" in partnership with YWCA NCW. This year, the event will be off campus. The event is a day of racial and social justice presentations, activities, and community building. The theme this year is "Until Justice Just Is" The event is open to WVC students, staff and faculty, as well as the public. It is free to attend.

Wenatchee Valley College in partnership with YWCA are encouraging folks to join the racial justice challenge that begins April 17th. This year’s challenge is composed of four themes, Disability, Housing, Mental Health, and Music.
After registering you will receive the following welcome message.
Thank you for registering for the YWCA Racial Justice Challenge! Follow this guide to access the Challenge course and complete the Racial Justice Challenge Pre-Event Survey.

- Navigate to the “Feed” icon at the top of the menu on the left-hand side of your screen.
- Select the link for “Welcome — Start Here” at the top row of your screen.
- Follow the instructions to complete the “Racial Justice Challenge Pre-Event Survey.”

Event Day Information
Wenatchee: March Together on Thursday, April 27, 2023
This year the event will be held off campus. The march will start Thursday, April 27, at 5 PM at YWCA Thrift Store (231 N. Wenatchee Ave.) to YWCA Administrative Building (212 First St.) where speakers, food, and sign waving will be held.
Omak: March Together on Friday, April 28, at Noon
The event will start at the at the Civic League Park (20 S. Ash Street next to the Public Library) with speakers, food, and sign waving. The march will start at the park and go through the downtown and end again at the park.
