NOTE: All students, regardless of whether they attend a ceremony, must apply to graduate. Spring application deadline is May 4, 2026.

Caps and gowns

The deadline to purchase caps and gowns is May 1, 2026.
Purchased caps and gowns will be available for pick up all day on June 9 and 10 in the Van Tassell Center Student Lounge.

WVC partners CB Graduation Announcements to provide graduation announcements.
Informational session
Any student participating in a graduation ceremony must attend an information session.
Wenatchee campus: Attend one of the informational sessions on Thursday, June 11 at 1 p.m. and at 6 p.m. in Van Tassell Center Student Lounge to go over the graduation ceremony logistics. There will also be a Microsoft Teams online option available.
Arrival time and ceremony duration
Graduates must arrive between 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. with their cap and gown for the 7 p.m. ceremony !
NOTE: Graduates who choose to participate in the commencement ceremony are expected to stay for the duration of the event. We anticipate the ceremony to be approximately 2.5 hours long (exact length depends on how many graduates attend).
Parking
There are multiple parking options for graduates and their guests:
- Town Toyota Center parking lot
- Small parking lot behind at Walla Walla park
- Parking on the surrounding streets
Reserved/Accommodation Parking
If you need parking accommodations for you or a family member, please reach out to the Student Life office at studentlife@wvc.edu
Note for graduates with mobility needs for the ceremony: Please contact the Student Life office prior to the ceremony at studentlife@wvc.edu so we can make sure to accommodate you.
- ASL interpreting will be provided at both ceremonies. Please check in with graduation staff on the day of the event to be seated close to the interpreter if needed.
- Accessible seating for those using wheelchairs or those who have other mobility limitations will be provided for guests. Please have your guests ask when arriving to be shown to the accessible seating area.
- Accommodation parking is available. Request a reserved parking pass by June 13 by contacting the WVC Student Life office, 509-682-6860, or studentlife@wvc.edu.

Translation
Speeches and announcements at the graduation ceremony will be translated into Spanish by a live translator. Graduation materials, such as the program, will also include Spanish translations.
