Ordering Books

The textbook ordering process differs depending on which type of online course one takes. Some courses are coded as WVC Online (VC) and others are coded as Washington Online (WO). While these courses are taught in the same way, there are some important differences.

  • WVC Online Classes (VC): Available only to WVC students, these classes are taught by WVC faculty. VC classes follow the same calendar schedule as other WVC classes. Books for these classes are available through the WVC bookstore. Your instructor may also have the ISBN posted in the Canvas classroom or on the bookstore website.   • Washington Online Classes (WO): Available to all community college students in the state, these classes are usually taught by instructors at another college in Washington and operate under a different class schedule. Books for these classes are not available through the WVC bookstore and must be ordered through WAOL via eCampus (with the exception of Geology 208, which will also be available in the WVC bookstore). Go to the WAOL Online Bookstore and follow the on screen instructions to look up and order your textbook.
