Dr. Johnson is a biology faculty member at Wenatchee Valley College. She has worked at WVC since 2017.

Her research has been reported in publications such as the WSU Insider, OPB, and Science, and she has presented at the Science in Our Valley Seminar Series in Wenatchee. 

Bobbi teaches classes in a variety of disciplines at WVC including biology, chemistry, environmental science, natural resources, and student development skills. In addition to teaching, she is the director of El Corazón: Center for Excellence. Dr. Johnson helped develop the Faculty and Course Enrichment (FACE) Program at WVC and has also served as the STEM specialist for CAMP, retention coordinator and faculty sponsor for the MESA program, and the college-wide STEM advisor. 

In 2022, Dr. Johnson's collective work received an honorable mention from the National Science Foundation in the Taking Action: COVID-19 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Challenge. 

She serves on the Board of Directors for Cascade Fisheries.
