We are very excited to welcome Ione Chimburas to the WVC family. Ione brings a winning mentality! She has
been part of three 1A Basketball Championships at Lapwai high school. Ione had a breakout senior season. Averaging 13 points per game, 11 rebounds per game, and 5 assists per game. She plans to obtain a Bachelor of Science / Physical Therapy. Ione fell in love with Wenatchee Valley College. She says, " I felt a sense of family with the school, basketball team, and the coaches almost instantly! I saw the cultural diversity and felt so at home." We love Ione because she believes in Wenatchee Valley College and believes this is an opportunity to define herself as a college basketball player.
