Time Commitments
Course work in this program will be demanding. Several of the courses in the program have a lab or field work component. To help you understand how much time per week you will likely need to devote to coursework, please refer to the chart below:

For courses with labs, 1 credit = 2 hours in the lab per week.
For courses with field work, 1 credit = 3 hours in the field per week.
Expectations
This program is roughly 75% online and 25% in-person. Classes meet afternoon/evenings (via Zoom) and one Friday a month (in-person). Attendance at all classes (virtually or in person) is mandatory.
For the 2024-2025 academic year, in-person days will be:

Additionally, there will be a mandatory orientation for new students prior to the start of the program in September (TBD). There will also be a mandatory student teaching orientation prior to the start of student teaching in August (arranged).
