  Student Records

All student records are handled in accordance with the provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, the provisions of which insure continued confidentiality of student records by governing the release of personally identifiable information that these records contain.

Additional information on this policy can be obtained by writing the Office of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, 330 Independence Avenue S.W., Washington, DC 20201.

Information concerning a student will not be released unless the student has completed and filed with the registrar's office a "permission to release records" card or unless the student has signed a personal note requesting the release of such information.
